Neil Young – Guitar Solo #5 (Dead Man OST) (1995)

The story goes that Neil Young sat down, watching a soundless version of the movie “Dead Man”, and recorded whatever was going through his mind. The music is heavy, repetitive, like the beating of the rain soaked wings of some large, exhausted bird. I can easily see the broken spiral of this music being used as a hypnotist’s device. I tend to use it to get through this seemingly endless, nondescript cold season we seem to be going through. Enjoy!
