I’m sorry to be so on and off these past few days. I’m a bit overwhelmed by this sickness – it makes it surprisingly hard to focus and give coherence to phrases, on the one hand, and it makes it uncomfortable for me to change my soundtrack everyday, I just feel like lingering with one album for a longer period of time. So let’s call today’s post a special feature. I don’t have much to say, except give my thanks to Bogdan “Bubu” Albulescu, one of my oldest friends and the man who taught me a lot of what I know when it comes to playing guitar. Like Jethro Tull’s Martin Barre said, and I’m paraphrasing, I’m a blues guitarist, no matter what I play, and that’s in no small part thanks to Bubu. I hope you enjoy this little demonstration of great, simple, honest playing, even if the stories and the banter are a bit dull. See you soon, back to normal as soon as I get over this nagging illness.
